I was born and raised in Monterey (CA) and moved San Diego (CA) in 2010 to attend San Diego State University where I earned my B.S. in Marketing. I began my career at an advertising agency but later discovered my passion for recruitment and made the transition to a staffing agency. Prior to joining Meet, I worked at a global life science staffing agency and specialized in placing contractors and consultants at drug development companies. I eventually lead the clinical development recruitment group for the west coast, which consisted of Clinical Development & Operations, Regulatory, Medical Writing and Biometrics. I later joined Meet as a Division Manager to help expand our West Coast contract offerings.

I am the Division Manager of West Coast Contract Recruitment and lead a team of recruiters focused on placing contractors in the pharma/biotech industry. Each of our recruiters is specialized in a given market, allowing them to be well informed and well connected with the local network. We operate as consultants and will provide insight and streamline processes while connecting talent to opportunity. Our current market specializations include Clinical Development & Operations, Regulatory, Medical Writing and Biometrics.

What I love most about the life sciences industry is its universal goal to improve peoples’ lives. Whether it’s a pharmaceutical company developing oncology therapies or a medical device company developing prosthetics, the focus is on creating a better life for the patient. Having worked as a recruiter in the Life Sciences industry for several years, I have a strong track record of connecting candidates to roles they’ll succeed in. To me, it’s about more that simply matching a resume to a job description. I take the time to understand my candidates’ strengths and motivations to pair them with the best opportunities available. I also share market insight with both clients and candidates so they make the most informed decisions, and help streamline interview/onboarding processes to keep timelines on track.
