Job Description:
Client Management:
- Build trusted client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and strategic alignment.
- Exhibit strong scientific grasp of client's business and therapeutic areas.
- Drive client strategy, manage projects, and address business challenges.
- Guide the team for successful project execution.
- Secure agency business through client relationships.
- Assist in developing client strategies with scientific leads.
- Provide direction to account teams and understand market context.
Project Management:
- Lead projects, demonstrate hands-on approach, and guide team.
- Understand internal processes and resource needs.
- Strategically guide project execution and problem-solving.
- Review and approve content with scientific lead.
- Facilitate team communication and updates.
Financial Management:
- Oversee financial planning, revenue forecasting, and invoicing.
- Collaborate with senior management for resourcing.
- Ensure project delivery within financial and timeline parameters.
- Foster client transparency in financial matters.
- Manage relationships with Finance team.
Business Development:
- Drive organic growth and identify opportunities.
- Support senior team on new pitches and presentations.
- Generate proposals and ideas for new projects.
- Lead proposals for small pitches and annual planning.
People Management:
- Effectively manage team, offering feedback and support.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure quality.
- Direct and delegate tasks to junior colleagues.
- Develop and mentor mid-level staff.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of 4 years' experience working within Medical Communications
- Experience working and thriving in client-facing roles within fast-paced agencies
- Strong relationship building and strengthening skills, with both clients and HCPs
- Has a high level of scientific knowledge
- Experience managing teams and collaborating effectively with wider business units such as scientific and creative
