Sr. Project Manager

As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing cross-functional software and firmware projects, ensuring the successful implementation of key initiatives crucial to our client's digital and device ecosystem.

Our client is a prominent player in the healthcare technology sector, dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in digital solutions. In this role, you will lead simultaneous execution of major and minor projects across hardware, firmware, software, and platform initiatives. You will be responsible for managing external software development and cybersecurity vendors to ensure alignment with project goals. Moreover, you will guide software project execution in compliance with FDA regulations for medical devices and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). Your role will involve providing clear communication to executive leadership and team leads regarding project status and risk mitigation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead simultaneous execution of major and minor projects across hardware, firmware, software, and platform initiatives.
• Manage external software development and cybersecurity vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Guide software project execution in compliance with FDA regulations for medical devices and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Provide clear communication to executive leadership and team leads regarding project status and risk mitigation plans.

Experience & Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in managing software and/or device development projects, preferably in medical technology or regulated healthcare environments.
• Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum practices and traditional project management methodologies.
• PMI PMP or CAPM certification strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.
