Job Title: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Neurology/CNS
Location: Nationwide (Ireland-wide) with Dublin Office Base
Travel: 50% travel, 50% remote
Salary: €78,000 - €85,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with expertise in Neurology and CNS, focusing specifically on migraine therapies. This role is perfect for an MSL with at least 12 months of experience (preferably more), who is looking to grow in a company with a strong retention rate, extensive development opportunities, and a commitment to career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a scientific expert in the CNS and migraine therapeutic areas, providing non-promotional, evidence-based information to healthcare professionals across Ireland.
- Support the migraine product portfolio by developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, clinicians, and academic centers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Marketing, to share insights and support medical and educational initiatives.
- Deliver scientific presentations, engage in clinical discussions, and respond to medical inquiries.
- Provide product and therapy area training for non-scientific personnel.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months MSL experience or other relevant field-based role in the pharmaceutical industry; additional experience in MSL or pharmaceutical sales is a plus.
- Therapeutic Area Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of CNS or migraine therapy areas is an advantage.
- Successful Career Track Record: Evidence of a successful career in an MSL or similar role is a distinct advantage.
- Education: Degree in a relevant scientific field (Pharmacy, Neuroscience, or related discipline); advanced degrees are welcome.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an approachable and personable demeanor.
