Meet's client is seeking a VP or SVP of Project Management & Operations to lead and optimize global project management and operational functions within a dynamic pharma advertising agency. This is a pivotal hybrid role that bridges project management and operations, supporting business performance across multiple global offices, including New York, India, and Europe.

As the first London-based hire, you will play a critical role in shaping the agency’s operational framework and efficiency strategy in the UK, with the potential to evolve into the Chief Operations Officer role as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional operations across international offices.
  • Oversee project management excellence, ensuring efficiency and consistency across regions.
  • Drive agency efficiency and business optimization through improved systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Manage financial operations, including budgets, scopes, and profitability tracking.
  • Partner with leadership to define strategic priorities and operational roadmaps.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives, with an emphasis on digital excellence and the integration of AI-driven solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of senior project managers.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to ensure alignment between operational delivery and business growth.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 12+ years’ experience in project management and operations within a pharma advertising agency.
  • Strong understanding of agency systems, processes, and financial management.
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and optimizing business performance.
  • Experience managing budgets, scopes, and profitability.
  • Strong background in digital project delivery; experience with AI applications is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional, international teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Reporting Line:

Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, with multiple direct reports

Additional Information:

  • London-based position (remote or hybrid from office as preferred).
  • The successful candidate will help establish and grow the agency’s UK operations.
  • Urgent hire, but finding the right fit is a top priority.
