We are delighted to announce that we’ve ranked in the 2024 edition of Recruiter Magazine’s Hot 100 – despite ever-changing funding conditions in our end markets and a repositioning of our business to meet the demands of the Life Sciences industry.
Meet Life Sciences’ investment from North Edge in 2021 initiated a journey of establishing itself as a true talent solutions provider with a sole focus on all Life Sciences areas, supporting from molecule to market across Pharma & Biotech to Med Tech & Healthtech through to CRO/CDMO organizations and the Healthcare Comms industries.
2023 saw a shift in our focus, with a further investment into our contract division where we now see parity with our balance direct hire offering. Implementing these changes and refocusing the business meant we could deliver significantly in 2024 and beyond – which is reflected in our Hot 100 ranking.
Hannah Haigh, CEO, has commented on the company’s ranking:
“Making Recruiter’s Hot 100 and being one of only three dedicated Life Sciences companies is a very welcome recognition that, during a challenging period, has showcased our ability to adapt and deliver regardless of market conditions. It’s safe to say we’re ready for the next chapter of Meet’s story.
“With a positive shift seen in the market within the first quarter of 2025 (including an uptick in equity funding into biotechs) we believe our decisions and hard work over the past two years has set us up to deliver true end-to-end talent solutions to the Life Sciences industry. From executive search and RPO/MSP offerings through to People Capability solutions – Meet Life Sciences aims to bridge the gap between skills and performance in Life Sciences while staying true to our mission of positively impacting global health.
“A big thank you to our global teams, including all those we’ve collaborated with as well the Life Sciences community as a whole. And of course, we want to thank the team at Recruiter Magazine for recognizing our efforts.”
The data for the HOT 100 shows the companies with the highest GP per employee, which has been rigorously analyzed and validated on the following criteria:
Size – To qualify, companies must generate a GP of at least £1.5m and have at least 20 employees.
Groups and Subsidiaries – For companies that are part of a Group, only the consolidated Group or its subsidiaries can be considered (not both).
Accounts – Latest available accounts for 2023 and 2024 have been used.
Jurisdiction – Eligibility for entry was restricted to companies that are UK-controlled, but companies that place talent worldwide (which are controlled from the UK) have also been considered.
