Technical Product Manager | Clinical AI | High-Growth Startup

About the Opportunity

Our client is one of the fastest-growing clinical AI companies in healthcare, building mission-critical technology that sits directly inside payer and provider workflows. They are hiring a Technical Product Manager to lead product strategy and engineering for next-generation AI capabilities while managing a high-performing team. This is a rare opportunity to operate at the intersection of healthcare complexity, AI innovation, and enterprise product scale—owning clinical AI products from conception through deployment and real-world clinical impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead product strategy for critical clinical AI workflows, from discovery and requirements definition through enterprise deployment
  • Build, mentor, and scale an engineering team; set OKRs and drive execution with technical rigor
  • Serve as the primary translator between clinicians, payer clients, ML engineers, and product—turning healthcare complexity into scalable AI solutions
  • Define clinical accuracy standards, validation protocols, and ongoing model performance monitoring to ensure safe, effective deployments
  • Partner with go-to-market teams to drive product-market fit and shape long-term deployment strategy
  • Build infrastructure and processes for scalable, repeatable product delivery as the company scales

Ideal Background

  • 7+ years PM experience, with 3+ years in enterprise healthcare, healthtech, or fintech
  • 2+ years building and managing technical teams
  • Deep experience managing complex, regulated enterprise products with technical and business nuance
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to work effectively with ML engineers and product teams
  • Track record of shipping products and driving measurable impact in high-stakes environments

Preferred Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates who bring some combination of the below:
  • Direct healthcare experience—payer operations, clinical workflows, health insurance, or healthcare technology
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory landscape (HIPAA, FDA guidance, clinical validation standards)
  • Experience managing ML/AI product teams or background as a software engineer
  • Prior MBB consulting experience (McKinsey, Bain, BCG)
  • Founder or early-stage startup operator experience
  • Clinical background or direct healthcare workflow expertise

Why This Role Stands Out

This is a rare chance to operate as a technical leader and team builder in clinical AI, owning mission-critical products that sit directly inside payer and provider workflows while helping shape how AI scales at a category-defining company. You'll drive real clinical outcomes, work with world-class engineers and clinicians, and operate with significant autonomy at a company that's at peak inflection—between early adoption and mainstream enterprise deployment.
